"Celebrating 40 Years of Art Making in Beara"
Cormac Boydell has been making art in Coomeen, Reentrisk, since 1972. This year's One Day Studio Exhibition on Sunday 9th December will feature new artwork alongside art from the 70s up to the present. There will be a 35% discount that day only on many items, and anyone and everyone is welcome to drop by and have a look. Allihies’ Industrial Heritage
Allihies Copper Mine Museum will present the first phase of its ‘Survey of Mining and Industrial Heritage, Allihies’, a piece of original research carried out this summer by museum staff, local experts, fieldwork volunteers and professional archaeologists.
The evening will also include a presentation of old photographs and film of the mines, guest speakers and refreshments.
