Our weekly evening classes continue with Guitar lessons Monday nights at 8pm, Art classes Wednesday afternoons from 2pm for adults and 3pm for children and Meditation each Wednesday at 7pm.

Everyone is welcome to come along to any of these classes.

We will keep you posted on any other events and courses as they arise.

The commemorative dvds of our official opening day are now ready and available from the Heritage Centre at a cost of €6 each.

Bere Island Ferry from Super Valu at 12.30, returning 4.30pm or 6.30pm

Murphy’s Ferry from Pontoon at 10am and 1pm, returning 2.30pm or 4.30pm

The Bere Island Heritage Centre Committee & Staff would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to and attended the official opening of the Centre on Saturday 30th October, the day was a huge success including the weather! and we are honoured that the President of Ireland Mary McAleese and her husband Dr Martin McAleese were able to share with us and acknowledge the importance of this day to our small island community.
We hope to create a commemorative dvd which will be available through the Heritage Centre soon.....
