Castletownbere
The next meeting of the Beara Camera Club will be on Wednesday 8th October at 8.pm in Twomey's Bar, Castletownbere.
A short AGM will be held at this meeting, and all members are encouraged to attend. The evening includes a slide show of Tenerife by John Baylis Post and Lanzarote by John Eagle. Also bring your pictures of insects for the next exhibition.
All welcome.
Beara Toastmasters will hold their next meeting on Oct 7th at 8pm, please attend by 7.50 for a prompt start. New members and guests welcome
Cubs
On October Sunday 5th to celebrate Natural Trial Dash and 100 years of scouting the local pack have organised a mountain hike starting at the standing stones Castletownbere at 2pm. All 7 year olds and upwards are welcome. Old clothing and wellingtons are recommended.

A meeting to set up a Prayer Group in Glengarriff will be heldin the Parish Church at 7.30pm on Friday. Donald Enright will also give a talk on the life and times of Padre Pio. |
