Route Insurance

Most national way mark way and Failté Ireland loop routes are insured under a national policy. Once you walking route has been inspected and approved by the National Waymark Ways you can request your county council to submit your route to be listed under this national policy.

There has never been a case in the country where walkers have successfully won a case against a land owner or a walking route committee over the past 20 years.

Walking route committees can also get insurance from JLT Insurers
